Business Support Officer
Are you proactive, detail-oriented, and precise? Do you enjoy supporting roles within a versatile organization? We are looking for you! As a Business Support Officer at our TPA department, you will maintain oversight, actively contribute to improvements, and ensure accuracy. Curious about this multifaceted role? Read on!
Responsibilities include:
- Perform reconciliations of third-party accounts;
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data;
- Prepare and compile financial and operational reports for stakeholders;
- Handle technical requests related to our internal systems (user questions, incident reports, improvement requests);
- Maintain and update work instructions and process documentation;
- Identify process and system improvement opportunities;
- Collaborate directly with Finance, Quality Assurance, and Operations departments.

Are you our new colleague?
You have a completed mbo+ or hbo education, preferably in finance, administration, or business management. You are system-savvy, eager to optimize processes, and proficient in Excel. You work independently, structured, with a focus on quality and results. You identify issues proactively and maintain oversight of ongoing processes. Excellent Dutch language skills, both spoken and written, are essential, as is good command of English. Strong communication skills and adaptability to different stakeholders are also required.

Department overview
In the Netherlands, Sedgwick employs over 500 staff, with about 115 at Sedgwick TPA, mainly in Rotterdam and Hoogeveen, working across departments like Personal Injury, Material Damage, Motor/WAM, Cable & Infrastructure, and Subrogation. The Business Support Officer works cross-departmentally alongside the Quality Assurance Officer and Project Leader.
