What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Programme Management Graduate Programme, you can expect to:
- Experience rotational placements across a variety of Manufacturing Sites and within our Business Line team, equipping you with the skills and experience to progress into a Programme Management role at the end of the scheme.
- Work within multi-functional teams, often collaborating with colleagues across global business groups, while gaining exposure to day to day Defence Programme Management across both New Product Introduction (NPI) and steady-state programmes, as well as a placement within Commercial.
- Support programme control and delivery, by reviewing and analysing progress, scope, cost, and resource management.
- Contribute to planning activities, including the creation and follow-up of work breakdown structures, organisation breakdown structures, and cost breakdown structure schedules/plans.
- Drive performance improvements, introducing initiatives to enhance on-time delivery, customer scorecard results, and overall quality.
- Prepare and analyse Programme Performance Summaries, providing insights that inform decision-making and programme success.
- Support risk, opportunity, and change management, strengthening programme resilience and delivery.
- Play a role in Programme Improvement Plans, including cost efficiency, pricing initiatives, Zero Defects Manufacturing, redesign activities, and gaining alignment with key stakeholders.
